We had a fantastic stay at the hotel. The cleanliness was impeccable and the hotel facilities were top-notch. The location, right on the river, was perfect for us as we love being close to nature. The breakfast served every morning was delicious and served hot. The staff were friendly and always ready to assist us.
Can't fault the property in any way.

We enjoyed the views, the peaceful location, the ease in which to explore the surrounding area, the good choice of scenic routes through the National Park which were all easily accessible. The rooms were well furnished with plenty of storage and decor modern and imaginative.
It was very busy at weekends and sometimes difficult to find a table for dinner in the evenings. However the staff were very helpful and the food was always freshly prepared and good. The first time we arrived we missed the sign and had trouble finding the way in to park.

Breathtaking location with stunning views of the river and surrounding mountains. The room was comfortable, clean, and provided a good base for exploring the area.- Ideal for walking and touring, with plenty of nearby hiking trails and attractions to visit.
No wifi available and slow service in the restaurant, with long wait times for meals. Some staff members were not very friendly, which affected the overall service experience.

Could not have been more helpful - my wife was late arriving, but the evening meal was waiting for her as requested despite being up to half an hour after chef was supposed to have finished

Stunning views, lovely room with good size bed, friendly helpful staff, great food. Our favourite hotel of our 3 day break to North Wales. Perfect!

The hotel is located in a stunning setting, with beautiful views across the estuary. The staff are friendly and helpful, going out of their way to accommodate guests' needs. The food is delicious, with fresh and well-cooked meals. The rooms are comfortable, with some offering a lovely view from the balcony. The breakfast is excellent, and the service is attentive. the hotel has facilities such as a cellar pub and an 'old' restaurant in the old railway station, adding to its unique charm.
The wifi range is limited, which can be inconvenient in today's tech-dependent world.

Great location, great atmosphere - log fire etc.,and a four poster bed. We travelled as a group for two weeks and this was the only hotel that one couple did not complain about! Hotel has an interesting history.
It rained.

During our Christmas break, we enjoyed the stunning views from our room and the comfortable bed. The location was great for walks and outdoor activities in the picturesque surroundings. We also appreciated the festive decorations which created a cozy atmosphere.
The WiFi coverage was quite poor and we experienced connectivity issues throughout our stay. the menu for the evening meals lacked variety and did not change over the course of our stay.

The staff were local people who made us feel comfortable and well looked after. No young female students better suited on the front cover of top fashion magazines, who are only interested in themselves and the way they look. Hope this proves to be the norm.
Could not fault the hotel, the staff and the accommodation. But can someone please tell the chef that the bacon he is serving at breakfast is incredibly salty.

Excellent aspect, great decor and renovation in keeping with a hotel of this period. Very courteous, polite and conisiderate owners. The best hotel food I have ever tasted - superb menu, popular with locals and those from further away. My room was sumptious, comfortable and spotlessly clean. I've stayed in so called 5* hotels and they could learn a great deal about customer service from these hoteliers.
